Some of life's greatest lessons aren't learned in a classroom; they're learned by serving others. Through Project Send, students put what they're learning into practice while serving in local churches and marketplace organizations alongside experienced Christian leaders.
As students take on real responsibility, they develop practical skills, grow in confidence, and discover how God has gifted them to make a lasting Kingdom impact. They graduate not only with knowledge, but with the experience and leadership needed to faithfully serve Christ wherever He leads.

Our goal is to help students embrace their prospective careers in business as a calling from the Lord and match you with local business to gain hands-on experience and potential employment opportunities.

Students in the CBU at Valley Baptist program have access to the Center for Career and Professional Development at California Baptist University, including the Handshake career platform.
Through Handshake, students can explore internship opportunities, connect with employers, access career resources, and receive support with résumés, job searches, and career preparation.
This resource helps students prepare not only for ministry leadership but also for vocational opportunities in the marketplace.
