Annual Tuition & Program Structure

ProjectSend, located in Bakersfield, CA offers students the opportunity to pursue top-tier Christian education at a competitive price through California Baptist University, and top-tier in-person discipleship and hands-on training with no additional cost. Scholarships are available.

Students in ProjectSend typically complete 8 units per semester in Christian Studies through California Baptist University, combining academic coursework with ministry internship experiences through the local church.

This structure allows students to gain meaningful leadership and ministry experience while also providing flexibility for those pursuing a dual major or maintaining part-time employment.

Tuition: $541 per unit

Christian Ministries (BA): 36 units

* Tuition covers the cost of academic courses through California Baptist University. Books and additional course fees are not included and may vary depending on the courses taken. Tuition for ProjectSend is charged through California Baptist University based on the number of units taken each semester. Tuition is currently $520 per unit and is subject to change. Student Scholarships & Financial Aid

Scholarships are available each year to help students join this program and pursue their calling. The first step is to apply for admission; then CBU’s financial aid team will help you explore your financial aid options.

All students are required to complete the FAFSA to receive federal or state financial aid.

  • Once accepted, students will receive a cost estimate in preparation for enrolling to CBU

Payment Plans

Monthly payment plans can be created through California Baptist University to break up payments once you have been enrolled. All tuition & academic related fees are paid directly to CBU. Check your CBU student email for messages from CBU student financial services regarding financial holds, outstanding balances, and other financial matters.
