Come to be Sent.

Project Send is an educational partnership between California Baptist University and Valley Baptist Church to equip everyday believers to carry out the Great Commission wherever God sends them.

Online Academics

Project Send is built on a partnership with California Baptist University, providing students with an accredited, Christ-centered education while remaining deeply connected to the local church. Through CBU's flexible online programs, students receive rigorous academic instruction rooted in a biblical worldview, preparing them to think critically, lead faithfully, and serve Christ in every area of life.

One Degree. Two Majors.

Students pursue an acredited online bachelors degree of their choice through CBU while also earning a second major in Christian Studies. This unique combination develops professional preparation with theological depth, equipping students to faithfully serve in vocational ministry, the marketplace, missions, church planting, and wherever God calls them.

In-Person Leadership Development

Knowledge alone does not produce faithful leaders. Lasting leadership is developed through intentional discipleship, biblical community, and life-on-life mentorship. Each week, students gather at Valley Baptist Church to grow through discipleship cohorts, leadership development, practical ministry training, and conversations with experienced pastors and Christian marketplace leaders.

These gatherings are designed to shape the whole person; not simply to transfer information, but to cultivate Christlike character, deepen spiritual maturity, sharpen leadership skills, and help students discern God's calling. Our desire is to develop Kingdom leaders who faithfully influence their homes, churches, workplaces, and communities for the glory of God.

Hands-On Internships

Leadership is best developed through experience. Project Send provides meaningful internship opportunities through marketplace organizations, Valley Baptist Church, and partner churches, allowing students to put classroom learning into practice while serving alongside experienced Christian leaders. These experiences help students grow in confidence, develop practical leadership skills, and discover how God has uniquely called them to serve.

Whether preparing for marketplace leadership or vocational ministry students gain practical experience, receive intentional coaching, and learn to integrate their faith into everyday life. By graduation, they leave with more than a degree; they leave equipped with the character, confidence, and real-world experience to faithfully lead wherever God sends them.
